I typically like to let the photos speak for themselves, but I must give a very grateful thanks to Katie and Eric for inviting me to be present for such a beautiful, special, and meaningful moment in their lives. The birth of Miss Charlotte Rose was such a special experience for me that I will be forever thankful for! :)

A few weeks before her due date, Katie said to me “I want you to be my eyes.” It was one of the most enthralling requests I have ever received, and one that I spent a lot of time contemplating. Immediately following, I felt a great responsibility, but one that I was excited to take on.

Katie needed to have an unplanned Cesarian Section after going through a rough 30 hours of labor. Because a C-Section takes place in the operating room with strict policies, Katie with Eric by her side during surgery, would not be able to see Charlie for her first few moments in the world. These precious moments were where I was most needed, and I am beyond happy that I was able to capture those moments for Katie, Eric, and their families.

It was a day full of love and bliss!
